Dan Bueschel
Chief Executive Officer
Serving as Chief Executive Officer, Dan drives Modigent’s overall strategy. Leading by example, he sets our vision for growth and defines our corporate values, ensuring that we are operating in a constant state of alignment between intelligence and business. He is the catalyst for how we innovate for our customers and is actively involved in all the ways we create solutions that help communities achieve sustainable futures. Dan has 35 years of leadership experience in publicly traded and privately held companies, having previously served as Chief Executive Officer of Healthcare NA at Sodexo and VPGM West/President-Cal Air at Johnson Controls. Apart from his position here, Dan is driven by his passion for impacting and supporting the community. He works closely with Lead Guitar Charities, a non-profit providing music education to underserved communities across the United States. Dan holds a B.S. in Organization and Leadership from Marquette University.
Scott Meeker
Chief Operating Officer
As Chief Operating Officer, Scott is responsible for the day-to-day direction and operations of the Modigent team across the nation. His days are spent directing how we address challenges, creatively solve problems, and move forward our companies and communities in which we do business. Over the course of his more than 20-year career in the mechanical industry, Scott has been recognized as an accomplished Senior Executive with a progressive and successful record of delivering results for both publicly traded and private equity-backed organizations. Before joining Modigent, Scott was responsible for elevating revenue, profitability, productivity and people engagement at Johnson Controls and Comfort Systems USA. Scott holds a B.S. in Industrial Technology from Texas A&M and an M.B.A. from the University of Dallas.
Susana Sala
Chief People Officer
As Chief People Officer, Susana brings more than 25 years of experience to Modigent. Having served in multiple senior leadership positions, she is responsible for our company’s overall people and human capital strategy. She is essential to our talent acquisition, leadership development, diversity and inclusion initiatives, organizational design, cultural development, compensation and benefits offerings, and people-centric operations. Susana fosters an environment centered around personal and professional development within a culture of empowerment and community impact. Prior to joining Modigent, Susana held senior executive roles including Chief Operating Officer and Senior Vice President of People, Technology and Communications for Paramount in Latin America, Europe and other regions, and with Bacardi Group. Susana holds a B.A. in Economics, an M.B.A. from ESADE in Barcelona, and a Coaching Certification from the University of Miami. A native of Barcelona, Spain, she is fluent in English, Spanish and Catalan.
Bill Markley
Chief Financial Officer
In his role as Chief Financial Officer, Bill directs and oversees all financial activities for Modigent. With more than 30 years of extensive executive leadership, performance management, and mergers and acquisitions, Bill drives everything from our annual operating plans to procurement and financing for new investments. His deep experience is founded on a results-oriented approach and his broad industry knowledge from years of serving in construction, architecture and engineering, manufacturing, and professional services. Prior to working at Modigent, Bill spent 11 years improving private equity performance with Alvarez & Marsal. Earlier in his career, he held financial leadership roles at several national and international brands, where he developed his financial and accounting acumen. Bill holds a B.A. in Accounting from Michigan State University and an M.B.A. from the University of Michigan.
Ashley Welvaert
Chief Legal Officer
As Modigent’s Chief Legal Officer, Ashley is responsible for managing the legal affairs throughout every part of the company. Ashley brings over a decade of in-house legal experience from publicly traded and private companies in the construction and energy industries. Her leadership in the areas of workplace safety, risk management, commercial contracts, and dispute resolution are invaluable. Prior to joining Modigent, Ashley held in-house counsel positions at JE Dunn Construction and Liberty Energy. She additionally spent 6 years at Comfort Systems USA serving as Senior Counsel, Litigation and Employment and Assistant Vice President, Safety and Risk Management. Before going in-house, Ashley worked for a boutique litigation firm in Houston, Texas. Ashley earned her B.A. in History from Texas A&M University and her J.D. from Baylor University.
Gustavo Subiela
Executive V.P. of Corporate Development
With more than 20 years of experience, Gustavo serves as Executive Vice President of Corporate Development, leading our acquisition efforts and development of our strategic partnerships. He has worked for multinational corporations, notable consulting firms, and a leading regional development bank. He has served as Vice President of Mergers & Acquisitions (Americas) and business unit CFO at Sodexo and as Senior Manager of Transaction Advisory Services at Ernst & Young. Gustavo earned his M.S. in Finance from George Washington University, his M.B.A. from Instituto para el Desarrollo Empresarial de la Argentina (“IDEA”), and his B.S. in Accounting (CPA) from the University of Buenos Aires. He holds an active CPA license in Virginia and is fluent in English, Spanish and Portuguese.
Mike Finn
Executive V.P. of Government Affairs and ESG
Under his direction as Executive Vice President of Government Affairs and ESG, Mike is responsible for Modigent’s integrated approach to environmental, social and governance issues. With an eye on infrastructure, technology and energy, Mike engages with government officials and stakeholders to deliver sustainable and efficient design-build mechanical and controls systems solutions to each community we serve and to minimize the carbon impact of our activities. Possessing significant management experience in the areas of finance, planning and analysis, operations, and labor relations in both Fortune 500 companies and governmental operations, Mike can effectively communicate with members at every level of government. His highly collaborative and inclusive leadership style and exceptional team development skills inspires our organization for success. Mike holds a B.A. from Arizona State University and an M.B.A. from the University of Phoenix.
